This BOLDR Venture Blue Moon was named after the phenomenon itself, an occurrence every 2 or 3 years or so when there is an extra full moon for the year, due to the 11/12 day mismatch in moon phases with our calendar months. This release coincides with a Super Blue Moon happening on 31st AugustĀ 2023 duringĀ a lunar perigee - when the moon orbits closest to Earth.Ā
The watch is also up to nearly every challenge due to the 200m water resistance and sapphire crystal to protect it.Ā
