The ocean is a recurring theme in this watch with the colour blue. The case has a durable blue PVD coating and the dial is a sophisticated shade of blue. There are several design clues in the design that reflect the theme, such as the seconds hand at 9 o'clock, which resembles a compas. Also the bezel will be slightly different from what you are perhaps used to: it's a countdown bezel. This bezel can be used to countdown to a certain event (the end of a race for example).
Under the hood you will find the Edox Cal. 01, which is based on the renown ETA/Valjoux 7750. This is a reliable, mechanical, automatic chronograph. This is not a small watch, partially because of the movement and partially because of the design. However despite the 48mm case, this is by no means an uncomfortable wartch. The design accomodates most wrists and it will look just right.
