Gruppo Gamma Vanguard Retro AN-13

The Gruppo Gamma Vanguard Retro AN-13 is an incredible watch. The most obvious perk of the watch is the material: it's entirely made from CuSn8 bronze. Bronze has the great attribute that it builds up a layer of patina. This is an ongoing process which makes every watch unique. Discolouration is normal with this material. One major benefit is that you can largely bring back your watch in the original condition by using a Cape Cod cloth. 

Under the hood you'll find a reliable automatic Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 movement. The dial is a lovely matte green sandwich style, with markers with Swiss Super-LumiNova® C3 lume. The dial is protected by a low profile double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. 

With its 44mm diameter and 54mm lug-to-lug distance the Vanguard Retro has a great wrist presence and the high quality distressed leather strap ensures it's comfortable as well.
