The Junghans Meister Pilot Chronoscope Black 027/3794.00 is an incredible pilot chronograph watch. The design dates back to 1955 when Junghans made a pilot watch for the German Bundeswehr. It's very clear, legible and relatively utilitarian. Under the hood you will find the Junghans Cal. J880.4, which is based on the Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, fitted with a chronograph module produced by Swiss Dubois-Depraz. This bi-compax chronograph layout works wonderfully with the design. The dodecagonal (12 sides) bezel is bi-directional and is designed for usage with gloves.

While most Junghans watches are fitted with domed plexi glass (with a sicralan coating), the Meister Pilot has a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating on both sides and also has an impressive 100m water resistance. Add in a beautiful, perfectly chosen leather strap, a durable DLC coating on the case and buckle and you'll have an incredible watch that looks very cool and comes with a lot of horological pedigree.
