Orient Star RE-AY0106S
The Orient Star RE-AY0106SĀ is a truly magnificent, beautiful watch that just oozes elegance and horological joy. It embraces the true Japanese style of design with the beating open heart at 9 o'clock, a power reserve indicator at 12 but the true beauty is at 6 o'clock: a real moonphase (not a day/night indicator) with a hand for the date. This is powered by Orient's in-house F7M62Ā caliber. This movement is alsoĀ regulated to a tighter standard (+15/-5 seconds per day rather than the usual +25/-15) and has a power reserve of 50 hours.
The watch is a lovely watch to wear every day as it has all the basics you can wish for such as sapphire glass (with a SAR coating, which is much more transparent than normal AR coatings), a fine leather strapn and 50m water resistance but combines this with a dynamic design that will never grow old.Ā
The RE-AY0106S is a great watch for anyone that loves watches and seeing them tick. A truly high end watch that is on the level of the (much more expensive) Swiss counterparts.Ā
