The movement, the Orient in-house 40S62, hacks, can be hand wound, has a power reserve indicator at 12, a small seconds hand at 6 and an 'open heart' at 9. Through this opening in the beautiful dial (protected by sapphire glass with an AR coating) you can view the running automatic movement. Speaking of the dial, it's one of the most spectacular dials you can find with a gorgeous mix of deep blue and green accents. The mixture of colours and apertures in the dial really come together and complete eachother wonderfully. It's a lively watch, celebrating mechanical timekeeping and the Japanese school of watch design.
On the back of the watch you'll find a viewing window, through which you'll be able to see the back of the movement. Also on the caseback is the unique serial number of the watch, as it's limited to just 2000 pieces worldwide.
