The Raymond Weil Freelancer Piper 7754-TIC-05209 is phenomenal pilot watch that that stands out in every possible way. Under the hood you'll find the Raymond Weil Cal. RW5020: a Swiss Made mechanical (automatic) chronograph movement with a GMT complication (and date of course), which is visible through the caseback window.
The watch has an obvious aviation theme (also seen in the beautiful special edition box) but it's not over the top, it's just a classy piece. A classy piece that has just about everything you could wish for: a high end movement, a titanium case, sapphire glass (with an AR coating), 100m water resistance, a fine leather strap with deployant clasp and a tachymeter scale.
The watch is not small at 45mm diameter (excluding crown), but the lightweight titanium material and relatively thin case (13.7mm is not thick for a chronograph movement with complication!) alongside the excellent strap ensure comfort.
The Freelancer Piper is a great watch, both on land and in the air.
