It's not just a gimmick, as it's still a genuinely good all-rounder with 100m water resistance, unidirectional bezel and a comfortable 42.5mm case (excluding crown), stylish rubber strap with Pepsi branding and a modest 46mm lug to lug distance and a durable black coating. The beautiful dial is protected by Hardlex mineral glass.
Under the hood is the mechanical (automatic) Seiko in-house Cal. 4R34 movement, with a day indicator at 3 o'clock (enlarged with a date loupe) but most importantly, also featuring a red GMT hand. The movement is also visible through the display caseback window.
